Football Industries 20th Anniversary Masterclass with Rob Elstone
After many months, and in some cases years, of individual planning, the 2017 Football Industries MBA (FIMBA) intake have arrived on campus. This year’s intake marks a special moment in the programme’s history, as FIMBA celebrates its 20th anniversary.
As well as the formalities of induction and registration, the students had the opportunity to meet with Rob Elstone, CEO of Everton Football Club. Rob has been a great supporter of the FIMBA programme and the Management School was privileged to welcome him back. The session was exceptionally well received and the new FIMBA students were not only inspired by the views and insights offered by Rob, but also learned a great deal about some of the fundamentals of professional football.
Rob’s visit marks the start of the football masterclasses and guest speaker series and the students and the FIMBA team look forward to hosting other leading figures from the football industry.
