Undergraduate presentations showcase Enhancement Project findings

Student representatives from all Management School programmes have undertaken Enhancement Projects alongside their academic study and had the opportunity to present their findings at an event last Friday, 12th May.

Students across all year groups have been involved in the Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) throughout the academic year, working closely with staff at the Management School and the Liverpool Guild of Students to enhance the student experience for their peers. The completion of the Enhancement Project also forms a contributing part of the students HEAR record, a comprehensive record of all university achievements.

To recognise the ingenuity of ideas and hard work Management School students have displayed during the course of their Enhancement Projects, an event was held on Friday which included presentations from Jonathon Foster (BA Business Management with Law), Connor Brinsdon (BA Marketing with a Year in Industry), Noura Qusairy (BA international Business), Holly Fitzgerald and Beth Foye (both BA Marketing).

The presentations touched on a number of topics including; improving the accessibility and awareness of academic advisors, enhancing student communication through new innovative methods, and bringing different cultures within the Management School together through student events. Students conducted their research through interviews and focus groups and compiled their findings into a report with recommendations to be considered by the SSLC.

Holly Fitzgerald and Beth Foye are in the second year of their project which recently saw them visit XJTLU, Suzhou, to conduct further research.

The event was attended by students and staff and offered an opportunity for questions and open discussion around each project.
