Management School helps to deliver University of Liverpool Hackathon

The Management School have been involved in the planning and promotion of a regional hackathon event which is open to local businesses, students, alumni and staff.

Colleagues in Health and Life Sciences have created the Liverpool Health Hackathon group headed by Naomi Mwasambili, Institute of Psychology, Health & Society, which aims to identify and solves Mental Health and Learning Disability problems using technologies.

Director of Studies for MSc Entrepreneurship, Dr Dale Heywood has been involved with the organisation of the hackathon which will be held over the weekend of 10th-12th March 2017. A group of MSc Entrepreneurship students, Ashima Gulati, Kerry Foster, Cecilia Arias and Marcela Cardona Sosa, have put together a digital marketing strategy promotional campaign to promote and raise awareness in the Merseyside area of the event.

The Management School also has donated one of the prizes for the winning shortlist of teams providing 6 months Hot Desking use in the Enterprise Hub from March to August 2017.The Enterprise hub has recently opened as part of a £12million extension and refurbishment to the School.
