Maltacourt have been a global logistics partner to some of the world’s leading brands for over 30 years.  The company has grown year-on-year to develop a team of over 900, innovating across 40+ countries.  Maltcourt provide services for multi-modal freight, warehousing and supply chain management.  They specialise in handling high-value, theft-attractive goods and commodities for high-profile organisations, an area requiring specialised customer solutions rather than rigid, template services.

Brendan spoke about his role delivering a seamless supply chain for Maltacourt’s domestic and international clients. Relationship development is at the heart of his role and he works largely growing companies, especially those moving into new market places or expanding their product range.  Brendan works with colleagues in Budapest, Sydney and Toronto to increase the volume of traffic between the respective countries, working with SMEs though to Multinationals and those looking to expand in overseas markets. He explained the importance of client relationship building and spoke about the importance of face to face interaction between partners and clients as well as being globally located in terms of international office space.

Brendan also spoke about the impact that the recent BREXIT vote has had on multi-national business and reflected on potential changes in industry which include the movement of customer bases in the EU and the increase in UK exports.
