Local schools took part in the University of Liverpool Management School's "Learning to Make a Difference Challenge" 2016. Winners from St Anselm’s College and St John Plessington were invited to the Management School on the 27th April to share their ideas and find out more about the university.

The competition asked pupils to identify a need in their community, using their own business ideas to address the need and see what a difference they could make.

Each team was given the chance to present their idea to their peers as well as Director of Studies for Marketing, Paul Matthews and Lecturer in Economics and Finance, Dr Gianluigi Giorgioni.

The panel was extremely impressed with the standard of entries from these schools who were each awarded £100 in vouchers to reflect the quality and creativity of their business models.
