Undergraduate and MSc students across all programmes had the opportunity to hear from Management School alumnus, Daniel Wimbush, who is now Project Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

After graduating with an MSc in Management in 2014, Daniel became a graduate trainee for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Since then, he has gone on to become Project Manager with Hewlett Packard Enterprise where he works with the Ministry of Defence.

Daniel gave a presentation to the students where he discussed the company’s work and culture and shared his own experience of the graduate scheme. He also gave advice on what Hewlett Packard Enterprise look for in graduate trainees, as well as what is involved in the assessment process.

Daniel ended his talk by holding a question and answer session with the students. They discussed opportunities for international students on the graduate scheme, and Daniel explained how his masters degree helped him stand out during the interview process.

Daniel said: "The HPE graduate scheme is a fantastic two year rotational programme which allows you to not only be involved in a thriving graduate community, but also gain invaluable experience in a fast moving and forward thinking company."
