IBM deliver a Mock Assessment Centre to ULMS students

IBM recently delivered a Mock Assessment Centre for Management School students as part of the ULMS Extra programme.

Students from across the Management School attended the session delivered by Tom Milner, a University of Liverpool Business Management student currently working for IBM as Marketing Assistant as part of his Year in Industry.

The session gave students the opportunity to experience what an assessment centre entails and an insight into the competencies assessors are looking for. They also participated in group exercises regularly used by employers in their assessment centres.

Students received feedback from Tom who having successfully been through the process himself, was able to help them to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The session left students with the knowledge and confidence to improve their performance when faced with a real assessment centre.
