The programme launched on Monday 26th October with an alumni networking session (pictured).

The Management School provides a 'Kick Start' for MSc Management students’ employability.

The Kick Start Programme aims to provide students with further opportunities to develop their employability skills and help prepare them for the graduate labour market. Sessions will enable students to develop their networking skills whilst building relationships with each other, staff, alumni and employers, in a relaxed and friendly environment.   The programme which will run throughout the academic year, will also include visits to local organisations, guest speakers and career development sessions.

Patricia Murtagh, Director of Studies for MSc Management said: "The Kick Start programme is about giving our students an opportunity for networking and skills development.  Students value the opportunity to meet with real employers so this is something we have addressed within this programme. Regularly engaging with peers and finding opportunities to socialise helps to strengthen relationships. By doing this, you sow the seeds for reciprocal networks that will create a strong alumni that lasts long after graduation."
