Football Industries MBA students visit clubs

Football Industries students have recently enjoyed a number of club visits.

March saw a visit to Manchester City, where students were welcomed by Football Industries alumnus, Danny Wilson (Head of Match day Operations,) and given a talk on sports operations and a tour of the facilities.

Students also visited Celtic, where the group were welcomed by Adrian Filby (Chief Commercial Officer), and given the chance to talk to three graduates from the 2013-14 Football Industries cohort who are now working for Celtic following successful work-based projects with the club.

Current student Steven Apampa said, ‘Celtic was a great opportunity to visit a club with a big history. We had the chance to learn about what is takes to put on a Champions League match at Celtic Park and what UEFA require. We also were able to hear first-hand about the philanthropic work the club does and how this impacts the community’.
