Chinese Society Welcomes New Students with a Gala Evening

University of Liverpool Management School Student, Ze Chen, hosted the Chinese Society Welcome Gala on Thursday 29^th October.

The evening event, which was held at the Liverpool Guild of Students Mountford Hall venue, attracted over 300 students from across multiple nationalities.

Ze, a Business Management student and Vice President of the Chinese Society described the evening as, “a traditional gala which provides a unique opportunity for cultural exchange”.

Students provided a range of exciting entertainment which included traditional Chinese dance, singing and tai-chi, along with a Chinese National Costume Show which celebrated the clothing culture of the Han group in China.

Student Support Officer, Luc Bostock represented the Management School with a welcome speech on stage.
