New MSc Operations and Supply Chain Management evening degree

It has been announced that from September 2014, the MSc Operations and Supply Chain Management Programme will be available to study on a part-time evening basis at the Management School.  This brand new study option aims to make the professionally accredited programme more accessible to locally-based operations and supply chain professionals. Delivered over a maximum of two evenings per week, it will enable students to remain in full-time work for the 24-month duration of the programme.

In what will be its thirteenth year, the programme will continue to be offered on a full-time and part-time day release basis. Students are provided with a theoretical and practical presentation of the factors necessary for effective operations and supply chain management in today’s competitive, global markets. Evening students will also benefit from the same added-value activities as their full-time counterparts, including industry-based projects, guest speakers and careers support.

Professor Andrew Lyons, Director of Studies for MSc Operations and Supply Chain Management commented:

"The programme provides an opportunity for practising Operations and Supply Chain professionals, or managers working outside the Operations area who need to appreciate contemporary operations and supply chain management, to balance a career with a first-class educational experience in operations strategy development, supply chain design, and logistics, procurement and process improvement practices".
