Accounting and Finance students visit KPMG

On Tuesday 18th March a group of 1st year BA Accounting and Finance students visited the KPMG offices in Liverpool to find out more about KPMG, their recruitment process, and what a job at KPMG has to offer.

The event was hosted by KPMG Partner, Will Baker, and a number of KPMG staff attended including former students Jade Van and Claire Buxton.

The students who attended found the event extremely useful in helping them plan for internship and graduate opportunity applications. Accounting and Finance student, Briony Fagan, commented:

"I enjoyed listening to those who have been in our position as they provided us with helpful tips of the application process and the reasons why they chose to work for KPMG, followed by a one-to-one Q & A session with all the employees. As well as this, I think that it was beneficial to hear from Will Baker about the qualities that make an ideal candidate for a graduate role at KPMG. The event was well presented, informative and a very beneficial trip which I would recommend to anyone".
