Chris Gallagher, PwC - MBA Guest Speaker
Chris Gallagher leads PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Government and Public Sector Risk Assurance practice in the North of England. He recently visited the Management School to take part in our MBA Guest speaker series.
Chris discussed the global megatrends which form the backdrop to strategic planning for both his own organisation and those of his clients. The pressures and dynamics of the UK Public sector offer his clients both challenges and opportunities, and similarly the impact of new EU regulations mean that professional services firms themselves need to adapt to a fast changing market for their services.
Chris also drew on his personal experience when advising students to focus on personal development and how to build effective relationships in business, as well as stating, ‘find something you’re passionate about, something that really captures your imagination and go for it!’
