Activate your IT (MWS) account

When your place to study here at the University of Liverpool has been confirmed, the first thing you have to do is activate your IT Managed Windows Service (MWS) account.

You will receive an email inviting you to do this, or you can do it at www.liverpool.ac.uk/activate.

You will need:

• Your Student ID number (you can find this in your welcome email)
• To set a memorable and secure password for your account (we've got plenty of advice about choosing a good password on our website)

Once you’ve activated your IT (MWS) account you’ll be able to access all the digital platforms and services you’ll need to be a student here at the University of Liverpool, including your University email address, Wi-Fi, My Liverpool Portal and more.
