DogMA
Monitor your dog’s mobility
Pain in dogs, such as osteoarthritis, can be difficult to assess in a veterinary setting. The Dog Mobility App (DogMA) provides a scientifically validated way for owners to assess their dog’s mobility in their normal environment and give their veterinary team detailed information.
The University of Liverpool is passionate about supporting dogs’ health and welfare which is why DogMA is available for free to all dog owners. There is the option to give consent for data to be shared for research to help further our understanding of mobility issues in dogs. #LifelongMobilityMatters for all dogs.
App includes:
- Scientifically validated questionnaire to help assess your dog’s mobility, including advice based on your dog’s score
- Ability to download your dog’s mobility report to share with their veterinary team
- Diary to record your dog’s exercise and medication
- Option to support research into dog mobility by sharing your dog’s anonymous data
For further information about your data and how it is stored, please see the DogMA privacy notice and end-user licence agreement. If you are interested in supporting research into dog mobility, please see the DogMA research participant information.
If you are a healthcare professional who would like to find out more or promote DogMA to your clients, please contact us at dogma@liverpool.ac.uk for digital materials.
