LMLow – Session 2

The second session of the “Learning Machine Learning Open Workgroup” (LMLow) will take place on November 17th. at 3pm in the GIC 6th. Floor, Roxby Building (turn left out of the lift). The session will cover Regression Trees and Boosting, with an XGBoost example to show an application in research.

For session 2 there are two readings. The first is a methodological chapter, whereas the second is an application within a social science setting:
