EmployAbility Freshfields Virtual Insight Event
EmployAbility is delighted to be partnering with Freshfields to bring you an exciting virtual insight event, in which you’ll be able to learn more about this great firm, hear from recent trainees and other Freshfields representatives, learn about the recruitment process and the exciting opportunities at Freshfields.
About Freshfields
We solve the most complex challenges for some of the world’s most dynamic organisations, using our knowledge, experience and energy to help them seize their most important opportunities. The work you’ll do at Freshfields tends to fall into three broad categories, which we like to think of as grow (transactional work), strengthen (regulatory work) and defend (risk management).
Our trainees solicitors are given the best opportunity to learn through our unique eight-seat training contract. The two-year training programme lays the foundations for a career at the cutting edge of corporate law and offers the opportunity to develop – not just as a lawyer, but as a person, too. We want to develop people who aren’t afraid to be creative and innovative and who want to learn how to communicate their ideas clearly and succinctly. Most importantly, we want you to be empowered to bring your whole self to work.
We are committed to being a responsible, diverse and inclusive business. Our values embody our ambition to be exceptional, but also recognise that “our people make our firm”. That means we value people and treat them with respect, consideration and courtesy. We promote staff well-being through numerous sports teams, social clubs and diversity networks. No single person can take on the work we do alone. That’s why we have a ‘one-firm mindset’, encouraging and sharing in the success of all our colleagues.
Freshfields is committed to being a disability-inclusive employer. We are constantly searching for ways to attract and progress our disabled talent. We also aim to support our colleagues who are affected by disability (such as those with caring responsibilities) and to give all an opportunity to champion disability across the firm.
We bring together disabled colleagues and Champions to be part of our disability network, Freshfields Enabled, with the aim of working together to become a more inclusive workplace. The network offers peer support for people at Freshfields with a range of disabilities, providing insights from people with similar lived experience.
