Grow Your Future - Alternative Career Routes: Where can your degree take you?

Create a calendar file

Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.

Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".

Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.

Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.

Grow Your Future is an Environmental Science Careers week taking place from Monday 12th—Friday 16th April 2021.
All events will run virtually this year on Zoom/ MS Teams and offer the opportunity to hear from, and connect with, speakers from industry that work across a range of Environmental Science disciplines. Events are open to all students and staff in the School of Environmental Sciences and across the University of Liverpool.

On Friday 16th April at 12noon there will be an Alternative Career Route event featuring a panel of employers outside of the obvious Environmental Science Industries. This session is designed to allow you to explore career options that you may not have previously considered.

The panel will include speakers from the below organisations:
- Teach First
- The Met Office
-Enterprise Rent-a-Car
- University of Law
