Ian Costabile (stage design & interactive technology)

Bethan Griffiths presents three classic works for solo harp including the Sarabande e Toccata by Rota, best known for his film scores for The Godfather Parts 1 and 2. Ian Costabile’s Intersidereal is a suite of five short pieces for harp that combines sound and light to portray the patterns and interactions of stars, constellations, and other manifestations of the sidereal space. Multisensory aesthetics are achieved using notated stage lighting, interactive technology and a virtual stage uniquely designed for this event.
