International Women’s Day with Google Students

Create a calendar file

Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.

Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".

Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.

Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.

Who: For Current tech and business students across EMEA
For the tech sessions, a Computer Science or a related degree will be most relevant. For the business sessions an interest in and experience in sales, customer support, account management, marketing or business background.
Deadline: 11.59 p.m. CET, 7th March 2021

Come celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) with Google Students! This virtual two day event series recognizes the achievements of women in tech and business, and will feature speakers, workshops, and the opportunity to connect with fellow students from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Our goal is to create spaces where women who are at the start of their careers can find community, inspiration, and empowerment.
Two-day event will include:

• An inside look at Google’s unique culture of impact and collaboration
• Opportunities to attend Tech talks and meet with members of Google’s Women@ community, and Googlers from various functional areas
• Exposure to our internship and full-time roles
• Professional development opportunities
