Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.
Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".
Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.
Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.
Ignite Your Future is an employability week in the Department of Computer Science which happens each February and is packed full of activities with industry. These can take the form of panel events, lectures or networking sessions. This year, Ignite your Future runs from Friday 19th February 2021 to Friday 26th February 2021. Events are open to all students and will take place on Zoom.
On Monday 22nd February at 1pm there will be a Gaming Industry event with speakers attending from the sector. This is a sector which is growing in the North West and many of the speakers for this event are located in Liverpool. We are lucky to have Avalanche Studios, Imagin3d, Lucid Games and Silent Games confirmed. If you have an interest in Gaming or would like to work in the sector, this is the event for you. Suitable for Game Designers and Programmers alike - make sure you sign up early for this one!
