Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".
Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.
Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.
Bringing the World to Liverpool is a new talk series connecting you with graduates living and working in different parts of the world sharing their unique stories. The series aims to inspire students about the different career paths available, as well as an insight into living and working in different countries.Each event will last up to 60 minutes with time for Q&A.
Canada & USA biographies:
Dr Simon Waddington (BSc Physics 1985).
Simon is currently CEO and founder of Cambium Biomaterials and has been an alumni ambassador for 12 years. Simon who also studied at Harvard has held a number of entrepreneurial roles and has founded several new companies during his extensive career in North America.
Gareth Jones BEng. (Hons) C.Eng MIEE MIET
Gareth is an Associate Principal focusing on urban mobility and infrastructure across Canada. He brings his national and international experience on transformative transportation projects, such as the Ottawa Light Rail Phase 1, Sydney and Jakarta Metro, Jakarta Bus Rapid Transit Optimization Project, St. Pancras Station / Channel Tunnel Rail Link (HS1), Taiwan Shinkansen, Indonesia HSR and the Jakarta Commuter Rail Operational Revitalisation project to clients and partners.
