Plan S seeks to catalyse a step change in progress towards a fully open access scholarly publishing environment. How do the Plan S principles advance open research? Which avenues might they close off? This presentation, given by the UoL Library Research Support Lead Martin Wolf, will outline the issues. If the UKRI announce the details of its policy review of open access prior to this event, the content of the talk will accommodate it into the discussion.
