Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.
Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".
Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.
Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.
This workshop will provide an overview to the key learning and teaching issues associated with the design or review of modules and programmes. Using a constructive alignment approach to course design the workshop will cover intended learning outcomes, assessment design, student learning activities and student learning skills to create coherent student learning experience.
Participants will be able to work at a module or programme level and be able to share experiences with colleagues from other subject areas. The workshop is also suitable for staff, including professional services staff, who are interested in course design but are not module or programme leaders. The application of Curriculum 2021 hallmarks and attributes in the course design process will be introduced in the workshop activities. Online course design resources and further support will be presented.
This workshop can be taken in conjunction with the ‘Writing intended learning outcomes’ workshop.
This workshop is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Education and open to University of Liverpool staff only.
