The Spanish Embassy Education Office in the UK and Consejería de Cultura y Turismo de la Junta de Castilla y León, in collaboration with the University of Liverpool, are holding the training event Jornada didáctica de español en Liverpool on Saturday, 23rd November 2019. The event will be conducted entirely in Spanish.

By means of a practical approach, the sessions aim to deal with new trends in the teaching and learning of Spanish as a Foreign Language. Practitioners working in the United Kingdom and Spain will share interesting reflections and pedagogical proposals, including a presentation on how to build a network of teacher-researchers to: promote collaboration between local schools and the University of Liverpool; test solutions for specific classroom problems and promote continuous development among primary and secondary school teachers.

Although the event is primarily addressed to secondary teachers of Spanish, we also welcome primary teachers and university lecturers, professors and students to attend our lectures and workshops and taste some wine and tapas from one of the most fascinating regions in Spain: Castilla y León. The University of Liverpool will provide a vegetarian option for lunch.
