Following on from the hugely successful Digital Education Network launch we’re launching the Active Learning Network on 9th July from 12-2pm. We have an external visitor; Dawn Irving-Bell from Edge Hill to do a 1 hour workshop on Sketchnoting and the rest of the time will be used to explore what the goals of the network are and to discuss upcoming activities and events.

Sketchnoting is a creative and visual way to share information. No art skills needed here, just an interest in disseminating your information in an interesting and engaging way. The session will look at the basic tools and techniques you'll need to get you started along with the theory that makes this an effective approach to use yourself, or with students.

Please see Dr Dawne Irving-Bell's Edge Hill profile for information - https://www.edgehill.ac.uk/clt/profiles-dawne_bell/

This workshop is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Education and open to University of Liverpool staff only.

Please use your University of Liverpool email address when booking ( e.g. @liverpool.ac.uk). CIE reserve the option of offering one to one meetings to attendees on workshops with fewer than five bookings.
