Global citizenship is about developing curricula that enables students to become highly employable global citizens – members of a wider community dedicated to a sustainable and just society.

This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore the concept of "global citizenship" and consider ways in which we might develop it progressively through the programme. How can we support students to see themselves as part of a community at every level; from local to global, with responsibilities based on equality, respect and valuing diversity? How can we foster a commitment among our students to a society, economy and ecology that are viable now and in the long-term?

This workshop is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Education and open to University of Liverpool staff only.

Please use your University of Liverpool email address when booking ( e.g. @liverpool.ac.uk). CIE reserve the option of offering one to one meetings to attendees on workshops with fewer than five bookings.
