'But You Don't look Autistic'

Caroline Hands is a Psychology PhD student and staff member at the University of Liverpool focussing on Education, and is a proud parent of two.

Caroline’s talk will look at her personal experiences in the education system from earlier life experiences through to her PhD in Education, and becoming an academic, whilst addressing stereotypical questions that she has faced throughout her life in relation to being autistic. Caroline will also share her perspective as a mother to an autistic son.

Bio wise nothing much comes to mind at the moment, I guess just the simple things I'm a PhD student looking at education (partially because of my own bad experiences), proud parent of two kids, work for several departments in the University and still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up.
