Explore how scientists at the University of Liverpool use rocks to study the Earth's magnetic field. Find out which rocks are real and which ones are made of chocolate without breaking your teeth, and explore the Earth's deep inner structure to see where the magnetic field is generated.

Whilst we try to accommodate everyone who wants to come to our family workshops, spaces are limited and sometimes fill up quickly. If you would like to bring a group or holiday club (5 or more children) please contact us in advance and we will advise you. The quietest time tends to be the last hour of our workshops.
