Celebrate the opening of the Victoria Gallery & Museum's major new exhibition Before Egypt by taking part in a fun family craft inspired by the amazing objects on display. The exhibition features the internationally important collections of Predynastic Egyptian and Nubian artefacts, some dating from as early as 7,000 years ago, from the University’s own Garstang Museum of Archaeology, and supplemented by loans from UK museums. The Before Egypt exhibition will be running until 26 October and is open to the public every Tuesday- Saturday 10am-5pm. For further information, visit: www.vgm.liverpool.ac.uk
Visitors will also be able to take a look around the specially-commissioned multi-screen art installation by international artist duo Vincent Moon and Priscilla Telmon, one of seven commissioned by Open Culture for LightNight Liverpool. See our LightNight listing for more information.
