Apprenticeship week - the annual celebration of Apprenticeships, National Apprenticeship Week, will be taking place this year between 4-8 March 2019. The purpose is to bring the Apprenticeship community together to celebrate the benefits of Apprenticeships to individuals, employers and the economy.
To support this, The Academy are planning a drop in session. Claire Hough – Apprenticeship Coordinator from the Academy and Louise Simpson, an IT Infrastructure Technician Apprentice from the Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease, who also won apprentice of the year 2018, will be based in Hart 3 to promote Apprenticeships and answer questions from Managers, Staff and existing apprentices. They will provide information about how to get involved and the benefits of Apprenticeships.
Whether you are a current Apprentice and have any queries, a department who is looking to recruit an Apprentice and just want some advice; or a staff member who would like to consider an Apprenticeship for development purposes, come along and ask away!
