Andrew Hunt was diagnosed with SLE in 2011 and is a patient at the United Bristol Hospitals Trust Rheumatology Unit. Prior to his retirement in 2012 he was a Deputy Headteacher in a Secondary school in Bath.
Beth and Andrew will reflect on how their collaboration as researcher and patient research partner began and developed. They will consider how this collaboration benefits both their working practice and the outcome. They will examine the challenges and benefits and also the wider implications that may be drawn from their work together.
