‘A Conceptual Framework for the Law of Religious Financing: Accommodating the Public Benefit and Freedom of Religion’

Professor Pauline Ridge, ANU College of Law, The Australian National University

A large body of law regulates how religious groups may finance their religious activities, including charity and not for profit law, human rights law, equitable undue influence, and succession law. The speaker’s objective is to construct a conceptual framework that identifies and explains the key themes of this law and their relationship to each other.

The seminar will be followed by a reception.
