Mozart - Piano Concerto no 14 in E flat, K449

Liam Carey - Concerto for piano and electronics (world premiere)

Pixels Ensemble:

Thelma Handy, violin
Sophie Rosa, violin
Vicci Wardman, viola
Jonathan Aasgaard, cello
Ian Buckle, piano

Mozart's Concerto no 14, in the composer's version for piano and string quartet, contrasts and contextualises Liam Carey's kaleidoscopic new work for piano, electronics and video - a fresh and dynamic take on the Concerto tradition.
