With respect to non-sales professionals e.g. engineers, lawyers, information technologists, he will look at the journey from practitioner to a 'practitioner who wins clients'. David will look at the principles of business development and discuss some key questions. What is the benefit of your service or product to your target clients? How can you communicate this value without it being a 'push sale'? Why should a client decide to contract with you?
David will also look at negotiation and the ability to diplomatically say no to a potential client.
He has previously hosted a webinar on engaging with international markets, which can be viewed here.
