Create a calendar file

Professor Nachiappan Chockalingam - 'Mechanics of the Diabetic Foot.'
Nachi is a chartered engineer and a chartered scientist, who is interested in measuring human form and function. He has an interdisciplinary interest in the assessment of human movement in a variety of conditions ranging from paediatric clinical issues to falls in frail elderly.
Summary: Whilst highlighting the importance of understanding the mechanics of the diabetic foot and diabetic foot ulceration, Nachi will outline some of his current work in the areas of prevention and clinical management of diabetic foot disease. His talk will also cover some of their novel approaches to footwear modifications using 3D printed footbeds.
