The Tafts are a musical family from Liverpool. We have all been writing, playing and performing music in various combinations for years. The project you will see today was initially inspired by Anne and Dave Taft who are also the principle contributors to the songwriting. We are joined by Tom Sykes who is an amazing musician and an honorary Taft.

Some of these songs have been with us for some time, some are new. All of them are stories. These have been inspired by our own experiences growing up, the people we have met or have encountered on the journey, some of the events which have affected us in one way or another, as well as the places which have special meaning to us. These are mostly in and around our great city of Liverpool. We hope you enjoy the songs as much as we have enjoyed preparing them and performing them to you.
