Eighteenth-Century Worlds Liverpool PGR Research Seminar

One of the most successful novelists of her time, Ann Radcliffe was one of the earliest progenitors of the genre of Gothic fiction. This seminar brings together the research of two doctoral researchers whose work investigates ideas of art, influence, and creative originality in two of Radcliffe’s most iconic novels, The Mysteries of Udolpho (1794) and The Italian (1797). We are very pleased to welcome Hannah Moss of the University of Sheffield as this session’s guest speaker.
