1.30pm ‐ 3pm: Parallel paper sessions (see call for papers below)
3pm ‐ 4.15pm: Closing plenary: Pamela Davies, (Northumbria University) chair Gabe Mythen (University of Liverpool)
4.15pm – 4.30pm: Closing remarks: Sandra Walklate (University of Liverpool)
4.30pm - 5.30pm: Farewell reception, including wine and refreshments sponsored by the BSC National Victims Network
We would be delighted to receive proposals for papers, particularly from postgraduate and early career researchers, on the following themes:
Violence(s), suffering and resilience
Witnessing, victimhood and the role of teletechnologies
Gendered violence(s) and fearing subjects
Victimhood and memorialisation
