Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.
Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".

Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.
Following the recent appointment of Janet Hooke to the John Rankin Chair of Geography, the School of Environmental Sciences will be hosting a public lecture by Prof Janet Hooke on the evening of Thursday 16th February 2017. Please find attached an invitation to attend this auspicious occasion during which Janet will discuss experiences from her career in Geography and environmental science so far and reflect on the changing nature of academia during that time. I hope you will be able to join us for what will be a fascinating talk followed by an informal drinks reception.
