Create a calendar file

Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.

Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".

Google Calendar: download the file, then go into your calendar. On the left where it says "Other calendars" click on the arrow icon and then click on Import calendar. Click on Browse and select the .ics file, then click on Import.

Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.

A rare opportunity to hear a recital of poetry and prose featuring a rich mix of material, humorous and serious, from Malory and Milton to A.A.Milne and Dylan Thomas performed by Liverpool University graduate, Martin Jenkins.
Born and raised on Merseyside, University of Liverpool graduate Martin Jenkins has worked extensively across the USA, UK and Canada. As Chief Producer for Radio Drama at the BBC, Martin produced over a thousand programmes and has also written a number of plays for radio. His productions have won awards from around the world. In addition to this, Martin has written and co-authored a number of books, including several devoted to transport on Merseyside, including “Merseyside Transport Recalled”, published in 2014 . Recipient of an honorary doctorate from the University of Liverpool in 2006, Martin makes a number of return visits every year to work with students in the English Department.
