We are delighted to invite you to the launch of our latest Framing the Future report – A Sustainable and Resilient Northern Powerhouse. It will present the findings of the Charrette for the North that was held at the University of Liverpool on 20 June 2016. This brought together academic, business, professional and creative communities with international experts to contribute to Northern Powerhouse and Great North Plan thinking by
exploring what ‘good’ growth could mean for the North and how might we deliver it?

The event will launch the ten-point plan distilled from the charrette discussions and through a panel discussion and debate with the audience will focus on a key question in this post-Brexit vote era: What can we do ourselves to create a sustainable and resilient Northern Powerhouse.
