From Monday, 31st October to Sunday, 6th November 2015, we celebrate the cultures and languages of the Hispanic world, including Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan and Basque.
We formally open Iberian and Latin American Week with a celebration of the Mexican Dia de los Muertos and an incantation of the Galician traditional spoken word poem to remember the dead and celebrate the living. There will be music, altar making, and come and admire the mural painted by Alfredo Hau during last year’s IBLAW, and lots of socializing and fiesta.
