Satellite radar interferometry, InSAR, is a geodetic technique that has been used for Earth Science applications for more than two decades. In this presentation, I present the basics of the method, and I will focus on the application of this satellite geodesy technique to improve the assessment of seismic hazard produced by natural and induced earthquakes.
