Aims
There are three main aims of this event:
1) To introduce the Centre for Spatial Demographics Research (CSDR) and the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC). The services offered by CDRC will be detailed, with a focus on datasets available to internal and external researchers.
2) To summarise selected current research being undertaken in both centres and to explore the potential of data hosted by the CDRC.
3) To explore possibilities for collaboration between CSDR and CDRC and between internal and external researchers.

a) Qualitative/mixed methods and retail and consumer data: Jonathan Reynolds, Oxford University (Academic Director of Oxford Institute of Retail Management)
b) Modelling of retail/consumer data: Mark Birkin, Leeds University (Professor of Spatial Analysis and Policy)

This will be followed by four short talks on current/ recent research carried out at Liverpool University using CDRC data
- 13:00 - Les Dolega – e-resilience of retail centres
- 13:15 - Michalis Pavlis - failed delivery problem for online retailers
- 13:30 - Hai Nguyen – spatial and temporal trends in click & collect orders
- 13:45 - Kostas Daras – big data & health related research
- 14:00 - 15:00 – questions to all presenters, feedback on current research and open discussion on potential collaboration
