The event will focus on the preparation of impact case studies; provide information about current support at the School and Faculty for these cases; and will clarify questions colleagues might have. What does 'impact' mean in practical terms, how can we measure and capture it and what are examples of best practices?
There will be informative presentations from Research Impact and Press officers, departmental research leads, representatives of Business Gateway and colleagues working in collaborative projects outside academia. During the coffee break there will be also time to discuss informally how we can support each others research and impact profile.
