The Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Liverpool invites you to attend its third annual Translation Workshop. This year, the workshop focuses on children’s literature, and our special guest is the prize-winning writer, editor and translator Daniel Hahn. Come along and have some fun talking about and translating words for children.

The workshop will begin with a talk by Danny, before we all tackle some translation ourselves. Please note that no knowledge of languages other than English is required.

Students who speak additional languages not taught in MLC are warmly encouraged to bring children’s books in those languages to translate in the workshop.

Refreshments will be provided in return for your enthusiastic participation!

To register your attendance, contact Jonathan Lewis, jglewis@liverpool.ac.uk, by 5pm on Friday 29 April.
