A group of academics at the University of Liverpool is working together to create a new refugee studies interdisciplinary centre. One of the distinguishing characteristics of this new centre will most likely be its strong engagement with external stakeholders, including charities, legal practitioners, other professionals, authorities, etc. We are holding an event where we will discuss the characteristics of this new centre, its membership, main themes and projects, funding sources, and structure. You are being kindly invited to attend this event, contribute with your thoughts, and become one of the key external partners of this new centre.
If you wish to attend, please register your interest online. You are also kindly requested to send a short personal biography or description of the organisation you represent to Nuno.Ferreira@liverpool.ac.uk, describing in particular your interest in refugees and asylum. This will be used to inform the organisation of the event and shape the future of the new centre.
