Following on from the successes of the Neurodiversity Symposium 2026 we have an additional event to continue the conversation and learning.
TV presenter Aidy Smith will shine the spotlight on the often overlooked side of neurodivergence: how we can harness what many deem to be our greatest weakness and turn it into our biggest strength. In an open and honest chat with Dr Jenna Kenyani, University of Liverpool Neurodiversity Symposium Lead he will be answering questions live on his life and experiences. Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at the age of 7, and ADHD just two years ago, Aidy is the only known global TV presenter with Tourette’s. While acknowledging the challenges being neurodivergent can present, which at times can be debilitating, Aidy also sees the remarkable strengths in ‘thinking differently’ and will share how he’s been able to reshape his own narrative, using his neurodivergence as a catalyst for success.
There will be opportunities during the interview to ask questions but if you would like to submit one before you can do so here: https://forms.office.com/e/x7n35VXgCA.
The event will be recorded.
The link to join online will be emailed to you the day before the event.
