Join Professor Medina for an inspiring lecture as he shares fascinating discoveries about how our blood vessels grow, age, and repair themselves. From studying stem cells that help regenerate blood vessels to exploring how cell ageing contributes to disease, his research provides new insights into human health.
With a career spanning clinical medicine and stem cell biology, Reinhold now leads the Department of Eye and Vision Science at the University of Liverpool, which he joined in 2024. He is looking forward to sharing his journey through academic research with colleagues, friends, and the wider Liverpool community.
